From Baixa-Chiado or Restauradores, the metro ride is around 15 minutes.

Check live times in the Carris app; frequency drops at weekends.

Train

Sete Rios station is about a 20-minute walk from the palace and connects to the metro and to suburban trains, including services on the Sintra line.

Taxi / Rideshare

From Baixa or Avenida da Liberdade, a taxi or Uber/Bolt takes 15–20 minutes depending on traffic. Ask for Palácio Fronteira, Largo São Domingos de Benfica.

Easiest option if you are going straight on to Sintra.

Walking & Monsanto

The palace sits at the edge of the Monsanto Forest Park. If you want a walk, combine the visit with the park's trails, but it is hilly and not a short stroll from the centre.

Car & Parking

The palace is a short drive from the 2ª Circular and IC19, the road to Sintra.
